For this endeavor, Savannah Bellaire Home Builders consulted with Spanish Architect to ensure that a true Spanish feel was reflected in the details of the home. Landscaped walls adorned with iron works are used to create a private front courtyard area equipped with a fireplace for gathering family and friends. The quiet permanence of the courtyard, with its dignified cantera columns and trim brought in from Mexico add authentication to the space with stained wood doors, windows and arches throughout the front façade. Heavy cedar beams adorned with hanging plants over the porte-cochere fuse both areas and continue the flow of private repose.

A powerful circular entrance tower is the focal point of the front courtyard. Mahogany front wood doors invite you into a spectacular rotunda that is heart of this magnificent home. This area is distinguished by a soaring two story ceiling with an elaborate combination of beaded boards and exposed rafters. To the left, a set of ten foot high double doors restored from a Spanish mission lead into a 16 foot ceiling high study. Custom hand forged wrought iron wraps around the circular stairway. Hardwood planks warm the entirety of the first floor that includes the rotunda, the family room, the formal living, the study, the kitchen, dining and a Butler’s pantry.

Countless hours spent on the smallest of details are what set this home apart. From the wrought iron, to the shape and pattern of tiles, to the depth of the color of the stains and the texture of the woods, all selections play together like the musical notes of a masterpiece composition.
